Abstract

La présente invention concerne une installation destinée au traitement par immersion de carrosseries, qui comprend au moins un patin (11) destiné à supporter une carrosserie à traiter ; au moins une cuve (13) de liquide de traitement ; une ligne (14) de transport de patin ; un système (20, 21) permettant de retourner et d'immerger la carrosserie sur le patin qui a été positionné au-dessus de la cuve (13) au moyen de la ligne (14) de transport de patin. Le système de retournement est constitué de moyens d'accouplement (24, 25) qui relient un arbre du patin (21) à un moteur. Le moyen d'accouplement (25) de l'arbre (21) de patin et le moyen d'accouplement (24) du moteur sont reliés par un mouvement dans une direction transversale à l'arbre (21) de patin.
