Abstract
Selon l'invention, au niveau d'un dispositif de communication, un paquet reçu par l'intermédiaire d'un moyen de communication est traité. Pendant que le paquet est traité, de l'énergie fournie à au moins un composant dans le dispositif de communication est réduite, en réponse à la satisfaction d'une condition associée au traitement du paquet. L'énergie fournie au ou aux composants est restaurée avant la réception de la totalité du paquet au niveau du dispositif de communication.
