• Valley Link transmission line proposal advances despite pushback from rural Virginians (foxrichmond.com) — A billion-dollar Valley Link transmission line could cut about 19 miles through Louisa County, including directly past homes in the Blue Ridge Shores and Lake Louisa area, and residents are pushing back over property, environmental, and scenic impacts. After packed June meetings in Louisa and other counties, the company is refining routes before filing a preferred path with state regulators this fall, and residents can still submit feedback.
