• Replacement of 54-year-old wastewater pump station in Huntington approved (ffxnow.com) — A major sewer upgrade is coming to Huntington, where Fairfax County has approved replacing the aging Jones Point Pump Station on Hunting Creek Road with a higher-capacity, mostly underground facility. The $9.9 million project will add a new control building, generator, and access road from Huntington Mews, aiming to cut backups and improve reliability through at least 2045, with construction slated for 2027–2028.
