One-way Ticket was born from the idea of sacrifice. Each fragment you see is a remnant of what once existed, the residue of a moment surrendered to transformation.
Between 2023 and 2025, Odious created over fifty digital works for echoes.odiville.com a ten chapter, choose your own adventure experience where art became both discovery and offering. It is a book built on choice and consequence, where each decision shapes the path ahead.
One-way Ticket is the continuation of that experiment, carried into the physical world. Odious printed and framed all fifty digital works, only to surrender them to fire. The act was ritualistic, a quiet ceremony of release.
What remained were these fragments: blackened charcoal, scorched frames, the fragile reflections of images once whole.
From these ashes, the collection was made. Each piece was photographed and digitally reimagined, transforming what was destroyed into something you can hold.
