Note on gene IDs

The database dumps above contain OMIA's internal gene IDs. In most cases, these don't correspond to NCBI gene IDs. You can download a list of the genes used in OMIA here to see the mapping between OMIA's internal gene IDs (gene_id) and NCBI gene IDs (ncbi_gene_id).
Empty cells in the latter column reflect the lack of that gene-species in the NCBI Gene database.

Print version of OMIA

There is also a print version of the OMIA database (with all records up to 2nd July 2012) available here. This is a 793 page document in PDF format with file size 9.8M.

Causal mutations

A table of phenes for which there is a causal mutation in a known gene is available here.
