At OGER, everyone is special and important, including your privacy. Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in effect, changing the current rules and laws regarding privacy. This means a new privacy policy.

1. Privacy Policy, as of May 2018
This is the Privacy Policy of OGER Holding B.V. (hereinafter “OGER”). OGER values the protection of your personal data highly. We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, hereinafter the “GDPR”). In this Privacy Policy, we explain which personal data we collect, for which purposes, and on what legal basis. We do this based on the various ways we obtain personal data. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and advise you to review it regularly. The privacy statement was last updated on May 22, 2018.
1.1 Who is responsible for processing personal data?
OGER is a leading institution with stores across the Netherlands and Belgium, and various digital marketing and sales channels. The OGER websites are www.oger.nl and www.ogerbyateliermunro.com (hereinafter the “Websites”). The data controller for all the personal data processing described here is OGER Holding B.V., Kwadijkerkoogweg 23, 1442 LA Purmerend (Chamber of Commerce: 36043565).
1.2 Which personal data does OGER collect and for what purposes?
Purposes and legal basis for registered customers: Registering a customer (hereinafter “loyal customer”) aims to enhance the customer experience and satisfaction, including through personalized communication with information, offers, promotions, and events tailored as much as possible to preferences and interests. On the Website, you will see content matching your interests, and your measurements and other preferences are stored in your Customer Account. As a loyal customer, you have access through your Customer Account to your digital receipts and online purchase history, so you can always find them. We recognize you online via your email and customer account.
Participation in the OGER loyalty program is voluntary and free. Naturally, you can also make purchases in OGER stores and online without using a personal account.
The legal basis for processing your personal data under the Loyalty Program is the performance of the agreement with you, i.e., your registration for the loyalty program. To determine your preferences and interests, information obtained with your consent via cookies or similar technologies is also used. You can withdraw this consent at any time. We may also use your data for analysis and optimization purposes (on a non-personal level). The legal basis for this is OGER’s legitimate interest in understanding how customers use our services to improve and optimize them.
Registering for the Loyalty Program: Becoming a loyal customer is easy and can be done in various ways. You or one of our employees can create a Customer Account on the Website or in one of our stores, in which you or the employee enters certain (personal) data.
By registering for the loyalty program, you declare that you are 16 years or older or that you have permission from your parents.
Information linked to your Customer Account: By analyzing your use of OGER’s services, we can better tailor our services and communication to your wishes. Part of the Loyalty Program is that we link and add available information about you to your Customer Account, including your interests, brand preferences, (online) purchases, and information about your use of the Website and other OGER services such as Tablet Assisted Sales.
Managing your customer data: Through your Customer Account on the OGER site, you can set and manage your preferences and interests for the loyalty program. You can:
✓ Unsubscribe from the entire loyalty program.
✓ Set and change your interests.
✓ Unsubscribe from certain communications, such as newsletters.
1.2.1 Webshop Account
We use your data to ensure you can easily place follow-up orders on the website and to process your orders. The legal basis for this processing is the execution of the agreement with you. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your purchase data is used to tailor the newsletter to your interests.
1.2.2 Guest checkout
If you want to place an online order without creating an account, we ask you to provide data necessary to process the order and to contact you about your order. The legal basis for this processing is the execution of the agreement with you. We also use your data and website usage to generate statistical and demographic reports (on a non-personal level) to better understand service usage and improve technology. The legal basis is OGER’s legitimate interest in understanding the use of our services and improving processes.
2. Customer Service
When you contact or use OGER’s customer service, we collect the following data as needed:

We use this data to respond as well as possible to your complaint, request, or question, in execution of the agreement with you. We save your inquiries to assist you better in the future and analyze customer satisfaction, based on OGER’s legitimate interest in improving services.
3. To whom does OGER disclose your data?
OGER may use third parties to process your data according to this privacy statement. These third parties act as processors on behalf of OGER and must guarantee sufficient technical and organizational security measures. Processors have agreements with OGER specifying they only process data on OGER’s instructions. OGER may offer services in cooperation with other parties involved in agreements with you; you will be informed when using such services.
Otherwise, OGER only shares data with third parties with your explicit consent or when legally required, such as in legal proceedings or to protect its own interests.
4. How do we protect your personal data?
We ensure that store and office staff understand the importance of protecting customer data. Employees with access to customer data have confidentiality obligations and receive training on proper and secure use of data and systems. We actively manage processor agreements with partners to ensure compliance.
OGER has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorized processing, including firewalls, encryption, and access logging. Employees with access are trained and bound by confidentiality agreements.
5. What are your rights?
5.1 Access and correction
You may request which personal data OGER processes about you and for what purposes by contacting service@oger.nl. You may request changes or corrections. Requests for minors under 16 must be made by a parent or legal guardian. OGER will respond within four weeks.
5.2 Objection
You may object at any time to the use of your personal data for marketing by contacting service@oger.nl. Emails and other messages from OGER include an unsubscribe option. Service messages cannot be unsubscribed from.
5.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your data or account by emailing service@oger.nl. Some data may be retained if needed for order completion or legal obligations.
5.4 Restriction of processing
You may request restriction of processing for justified reasons by emailing service@oger.nl.
5.5 Data portability
If processing is based on consent and automated, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format by emailing service@oger.nl.
5.6 Withdrawal of consent
If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
5.7 Complaints
You have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you have concerns about OGER’s use of your data.
6. Cookies
We aim to inform you openly and fully about cookies used on OGER.nl. Cookies improve your experience and filter ads and content according to your interests. Below is more information about cookies, their uses, and how you can opt out.
