Miss the 90s AOL, AIM, ICQ, or maybe even Q-Link?
We do too! That's why we're bringing them back*.
Let's go back to the basics - when you hoped your modem would connect to
the internet, when you changed your away message to tease someone, when you used to chat
endlessly with people from all around the world. It's back, baby!
We're working to primarily rebuild the original AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), Classic AOL,
and ICQ platforms as close to the originals as possible*, and
document the entire thing.

* NINA does not provide access to the original online services nor do we have access to any original user data. We build services which are "compatible" with the original clients and/or other software. We strive for an authentic and original "look and feel", but these are new services meant to create an old experience. All research and development is done independently of the original creators of the services mentioned, as we are not sponsored by, nor associated with, nor endorsed by AOL/Bending Spoons nor VK Group.
Our custom server currently supports AOL 4.0 and 5.0, but is still in the alpha stage, and access is provided upon direct request or donation.
You can learn a bit more about the situation on the Connecting to AOL page.
