the y2k book sounds really really good. As a fellow millennial I feel a lot of the same feelings about growing up in the 90s/00s. I'll have to add that book to my tbr. And your current read sounds really interesting too, I can't wait for your thoughts on that one!

totally! i think he has some good points but can also kinda come off a little ...idk, i can't put my finger on why i was mildly annoyed by him at times hahah. But yes! Here we are on the small web making the best of it, def improves my quality of life doing things this way

Wow, I love this bitchin' homage! Cocteaus meet Banshees meet Bunnymen in a converted pool hall circa '84 or so. So many try and fail to stylistically and spiritually reproduce post-punk idioms, but CO really nails it. Thanks for sharing this.
