Why do we need to label this ‘math rock’? What does that even mean? I feel like it somehow short-changes the dynamic heart- felt positive style that Hikes presents. How can you not smile when you hear this inspired, very original band? Just listen and don’t worry about the latest buzzword to describe this…this is very special music!

Delicious math rock featuring artful and catchy melodic writing, underpinned by intensely complex instrumental work. The emo influence in TTNG's past works has been toned down in favor of delicate pop songwriting, and, oh boy, it does it for me.
