about

Some tracks come about spontaneously, without warning or planning.
This one came about while we were busy working on a brand new band in a completely different genre (watch out, synth-pop is coming ;-).
It began with a sharp, obsessive, acid scream bouncing around. Then a deep bassline emerged, ready to battle it out with a synth bassline reminiscent of the late 80s. And before we knew it, one sound leading to another, it had turned into a 13-minute trip!
Since every second counts, we reduced it to a 9 minutes emotional journey, filled with the idea of futures that never came to be, but which remain engraved in our souls. A link between Plus8's FUSE and early 90s German acid trance, with a touch of nostalgic Detroit Techno and a nod to our dear Laurent Garnier.
Yes, it's too long. Yes, it's too slow, not flashy enough, and the chord progression is far too long for today's club standards. But fuck it! If it touches some hearts, well, that's what music is for!

But it wasn't over yet. As we tried out some daring mixing tricks, the track suddenly transformed into something completely different: dubby, slow, deep and bass-heavy, now playing with Maurizio's influence and our love for Swayzak's dubby grooves. Finally, out of nowhere, a flute came along, like casting a spell on the audience, giving it a Bobby Konders touch. Hypnotic, simple, as if slowly entering a warm pool of sound, far away, on the edge of the audio empire.

So it's not New Beat, Not TBM, house or industrial dance.
But it wanted to be, and we hope your ears will be pleased.

Please tell us!
