Number of Times Seen – 1 (3 Jul 2023)
Brief Synopsis – A Man goes on a quest to find himself and meets some very strange people on the way which makes him think more about what’s important in life.
My Take on it – This is a movie with a great idea, yet doesn’t manage to present it in a way that makes it engaging enough for the audience. The importance of this journey is the introspective of the character and we never truly get a real idea of who he is and why he is having all of these doubts about his life because we only get snippets of things along the way for us to try and put together the puzzle. The cast is impressive and both Billy Crudup and Julianne Moore are fine here, but unfortunately, neither of them can help make things more powerful or poignant.
