Washington DC’s Baronhawk Poitier returns to Major with a full EP following his broken-beat rework of Majorettes’ “Run The Trip” in 2021. Friction Faction starts deep and melodic before shifting into pure dance mania, crossing effortlessly through Electro, House, Acid, Disco, and Baltimore Club. It’s a sharp, playful four-tracker built to soar and made for the floor.

There are very few artists who embody a commitment to their work like Baronhawk. It comes straight from the heart, and anyone who’s watched him play or listened to his music knows this. We’re thrilled to have Baronhawk back with us. These tracks hum with tension, slick with rhythm and sweat, where machinery meets emotion.
