My name is Ian Richard and I make games.
While I'm best known for the board games "The Cards of Cthulhu" and "Non-Gratus Rodentum"... I have a decade of professional experience in video game development, plus several years of twitch streaming.
I've always loved to explore games and the experiences that they can create. Here you'll find many of my specific explorations.
After way too long in the game industry it's become my dream to rebuild the industry I dreamed of becoming. The one where players were invested and willing to learn, and where developers crafting new and unique experiences. The world where interaction was the paintbrush and games mechanics were the final frontier.
So, I've released my first Steam Release:
Think of my new projects as The Super Simple series meets Asylum Films. Low budget projects that wouldn't exist through modern gaming systems. NEW mechanics, NEW experiences, and a respect for the players time instead of a focus on dopamine release and driving up playtime.
