Web Development

• Soupault: I recently found this SSG, and I have switched my site to use it. Previously I was using Jekyll, but it is hosted by GitHub, and I’m much less interested in them since Microsoft’s takeover. Just feels more of the Embrace, Extend, Extinguish activity going on around it. But besides that, I like the fact that it is fully capable of parsing HTML and rewriting it. You can key off of tags or such in your HTML, call out to other programs to generate text, or even pipe some of the text from the HTML into it and then plop the output back into the HTML.
