After the events of autumn 1984, people in Hawkins begin to find strange marks on their bodies. More weirdness in Hawkins, must be Tuesday, but Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve find that destiny isn’t done with them yet.

When a blizzard prevents the three from going home for Christmas, they have to make their own Christmas in their new apartment, terrible tree and nonfunctional oven and everything.

Nancy has a holiday job at the mall. Now if she can just stop everyone she knows from finding out. Especially two of them in particular.

The modern-day midlife crisis fic nobody asked for. Steve’s turning 50, nobody is handling it well (least of all Steve), Dustin wants to know how he got dragged into the middle of this, and oh, by the way, there’s something weird in Hawkins. As per usual.

“Remember,” Hopper said as he parked the Blazer on the street in downtown Hawkins. “You get to pick where we go. This is your day. All of it.”

Jane nodded absently, her eyes large as she stared out of the window.

It was only fair, he thought. One day hardly made up for spending nearly two years, cumulatively, in the cabin – with as much freedom as he was able to give her, but it was still terribly limited, especially for a girl as bright and inquisitive as she was. But … this was just one day, out of the entire rest of the lives that he hoped they’d have together.
