I actually run for a non-profit that does this and they have all become good marketing materials for them.

Is it sad that I had to look up what a "beer mat" was? I swear we're all speaking the same language, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it haha!
The last conference I was at, a company was handing out flasks with their logo -- I'd have to say it was the best swag I've got yet :)
Were you at Silverpop Amplify? I think I remember the team at Whereoware giving out flasks.

Glass/screen cleaning re-useable wipe
Phone charging pack : it looks like a USB stick from the early 2000s but it is a reuseable phone charger (got one off a conference, it's a life saver I keep it in my backpack fully charged at all times as it can revive a phone from 0 to 70% battery)
