      I was thinking in general. Some games or animes they throw shots of windows on the screen. Sometimes is even just one window and some credits, like small pictures animated. It is not necessarily the split screen.

      This one in particularly is an example with two floating windows of animations and behind we have the black screen that is not even covered completely.

      I was wondering if there was some naming for this but it doesn’t seem the case.

        Splitscreening is most of what your talking about but the particular thing of framed shots on a coloured background is something similar to ‘photo collage’ so 'd be video collage.

    It looks like PC-98 graphics kinda but not sure about the window tiling specifically.

    I would personally refer to this as NES Cutscene style

    And the artstyle of the characters sort of a Rumiko Takahashi style, but the style could also be a lot older than that too because it’s definitely a product of its time in the 80s and 90s when it was peak popularity.

        No but its definitely the style. They even have something similar to a silly cathode tube television visual effect on the left panel.
