It’s summer festival time. Just ate yakisoba at my local festival. It’s ¥400 but the noodles always seems thicker than what the supermarket sells. What gives?
Anyway, what are your go to festival foods?
chocolate banana and roasted squid
Yakisoba. Wataame. Ringo ame. Takoyaki.
Not a fan of the sweet stuff, but you nailed it with the yakisoba and takoyaki. Them and beer are where it’s at.
Or a chu-hi (non strong zero lol)
I normally eat before or after I go. In my experience most of the festival food I’ve eaten has been overpriced (relative to size) and subpar in quality.
Yeah that’s true. But for me it’s part of the fun so I tend to pick up one or two things. Off to another local festival tonight. I’ll see what they have!
