I don’t think anyone who read even the first paragraph of the article (at least the one i read) would say they are doing verification. They are simply adding a field for data to be housed if anyone wants to opt in. Instead of putting it in 20 different spots/apps it’s in one place that any third party can reference.

I would also like to point out the double standard. While this is a fine… I mean freaking fiiiiiine picture.

To the point the dumb shit was trying to make, there is a picture of Pierce Brosnan on a beach with a giant gut. Don’t see the dude posting that kind of shit.

I agree and that’s how i operate. However the counter argument to this is, if a store is open and no one shows up at all then next year they will not open because there was not a single sale. Not sure how acurate that is in terms of corporate BS but that is the general counter argument i hear.

  • Just as important is what they connect to. You know the plastic part it connects to inside whatever device you are connecting to. Same concept when monster cables were a thing, the gold plated connectors that connect to the back of your tv using plastic and undefined metal.

That is a beautiful picture and makes me want to be there.

However the first thought when reading the title was “Chinese or Japanese?” Thank you Hank Hill for showing how little most Americans knew of other places years ago. (And still true today in too may parts of America)
