For awhile I’ve been wondering when the first AI-caused mass casualty event would happen. I think it was probably when that school full of little girls got blown up in Iran. There should definitely be liability for absolutely anyone enabling such grave mistakes.

Motorola has in the past offered the “Android One” option which was mostly debloated from the factory. I had one and it was the best factory version of Android I’ve seen, very little bullshit included.
Plus when you install GrapheneOS, ALL of that bullshit goes away for good.
Raised on computers, still don’t like touchscreen interfaces. Still have a phone but I don’t use it much for visiting the Internets

No, not really. Their name “homeland security” has always been a little too nazi-1984-ish sounding for me. The Federal Emergency Management people and programs are sometimes useful though.
