Last season I did not manage to renew my subscription because I moved to a different country and f1 did not accept the payment from VISA card in country A for a subscription in country B. So we watched on ☠️ channels, which was really terrible. There you have to watch it live, no replays. But this year, with new VISA card, I managed to pay and I will watch races in replay in the early morning when needed, without ads and without streaming problems.
itsameto Formula 1•McLaren sponsor DP World replaces chairman linked to Epstein "torture video" email1·2 months agoNo. All rumors.
“Well, I’m very honoured, because Damon’s someone I respect massively, but no, that’s not on the horizon anytime soon. For sure, I have enough on my plate,” she said. “I’m so honoured, I really am. That people do speak highly, but no, it’s not something which I’ve considered. I can’t see myself doing that right now…”

itsameto Formula 1•What do you think is the best looking F1 livery to ever grace the sport? (post pics)13·4 months agoFor me, the McLaren Marlboro livery should be in the list. Probably second after Lotus - JohnPlayer livery (pictured here also).
I choose this McLaren MP4/5B. Too bad the car-designs got worse after this and tobacco brands were banned in many countries. But Marlboro was a very strong brand in F1, even continued for quite a while without showing the actual brand-name.

Reducing the validity timespan will not solve the problem, it only reduces the risk. And how big is that risk really? I’m an amateur and would love to see some real malicious case descriptions that would have been avoided had the certificate been revoked earlier…
Anybody have some pointers?
Sure. For reference: 8 and 88 also not available (claimed by Grosjean and Kubica). I just wanted to complete the list in “if you choose to ignore 8, 88 and 96”.

They are all white surrender flags.
itsameto Formula 1•Two mandatory pit stops: the F1 Commission discusses the proposal for 2026.31·5 months ago…and it highlighted the possibility for drivers to push hard without having to worry about management.
The sport is to go fast, tyre management prevents that. I think mandatory 2 stoppers will make them push harder, but may also reduce the on track overtaking. Needs to be analyzed better (or tried).
itsameto World News•US attacks in Caribbean and Pacific violate international human rights law – UN Human Rights ChiefEnglish121·5 months agoCaptain Obvious arrived on the scene. Now we wait for the world leaders.
The article on Rivian is about the USA, a country rowing backwards with a clown removing all benefits for non polluting vehicle owners. Let’s pray the Indian clowns are always voted away from the government so increasing EV sales can continue to reduce pollution of the big cities.
Your Honor, I wanna present evidence in defense of OP:
Exhibit A: In Dutch language the creature is called “walvis”, in which the syllable “vis” translates directly to “fish” in English.
Exhibit B: The scientist Stephen Jay Gould concluded, after a lifetime studying marine life, that “fish” do not form a single genus, nor are they all closely related to one another, and that there is no single evolutionary ancestor exclusive to all species traditionally called fish. This implies that the term “fish” is not a scientifically coherent category, and therefore any aquatic creature could, in principle, be labeled a “fish”.
I rest my case.
