Could be hearsay, but I saw someone say even mentioning knowing what Fragging is during your interview is enough to get you disqualified.

Jessvj93to Games•Nvidia Announces DLSS 5, and it adds... An AI slop filter over your gameEnglish15·24 days agoI remember a video awhile back showing off tech seen in a paper where they showed gameplay of GTA V with real world data, though I think it was based on German street car camera data. This looks like that same tech and honestly in like 3 card generations from now, I really wonder how far it’ll go. Also if it hits real time photorealism by then, there’s no point in pushing that direction anymore so maybe now the focus can be on gameplay.

Who they trust more than literal doctors and nurses.

Jessvj93to Technology•Ad blocking is alive and well, despite Chrome's attempts to make it harderEnglish10·2 months agoI was born in the early 90s, got non-dial up home internet access in 2003, and never ever, in the history of my time being on the internet. I have never ever, never not even once clicked on an ad on purpose. Like the Yahtzee ad thats showing right above your comment, I will never click this shit and follow it all the way up to giving my credit card info over. Why do we even have these nowadays, aside from tracking you?
Hence why I called it the backrooms hell hole, where decent ideas or arguments go to die.
I was curious so went to the backrooms hellhole that is the Talk tab and they said it’s trusted English source for the translation has it copyrighted. And even if you pull the literal symbols off of the images in the article and put them together, they can’t use the transcription/translation because they need it to come from a published expert on the matter.
“What I have said respecting and against religion, I mean strictly to apply to the slaveholding religion of this land, and with no possible reference to Christianity proper; for, between the Christianity of this land, and the Christianity of Christ, I recognize the widest possible difference—so wide, that to receive the one as good, pure, and holy, is of necessity to reject the other as bad, corrupt, and wicked. To be the friend of the one, is of necessity to be the enemy of the other.
I love the pure, peaceable, and impartial Christianity of Christ: I therefore hate the corrupt, slaveholding, women-whipping, cradle-plundering, partial and hypocritical Christianity of this land. Indeed, I can see no reason, but the most deceitful one, for calling the religion of this land Christianity. I look upon it as the climax of all misnomers, the boldest of all frauds, and the grossest of all libels. Never was there a clearer case of “stealing the livery of the court of heaven to, serve the devil in.”" - Frederick Douglass
That Christianity of the land, of the South, never went away. Fredrick Douglass is only like 5~ generations away from us today and many churches have never changed from being corrupt and wicked and bad. Denying food to people cutoff by food stamps, closing their giant stadiums during floods, using their God’s name to get their congregation to buy them a new private jet, and are right now, using the literal actual (orange) depiction of sloth and gluttony to hurt “the people he needs to be hurting” for them. They still celebrate their kills and there’s been a surge of lynchings of black and brown folk.
On a less dreadful note, I know one of Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s descendants! I forget how many grands- there are in her lineage, but she is my favorite modern day feminist, the most badass woman I’ve ever met and am glad to call a friend!
I love her, and the code she used is adorable:
“LOL Memory” (Core Rope): The code was literally woven into hardware by women in factories, dubbed “Little Old Lady” memory.
