Try Escape from Duckov! Silly characters but the gameplay really is solid.

I’ll second Duckov! I had quite a bit of fun with it and progression is pretty solid.

If that’s in the movie (the gas flask) it must be a deleted scene or something because I’ve never seen anything like that. So Things can identify themselves and if in the correct conditions will combine to form a larger creature. Especially the conditions on the end of the movie where survival and not freezing to death are the main concerns. Another established fact in the movie is if there is one Thing and one human it will attack / consume / clone that person. Anyway, def seen it a few times, haha. You should give it a rewatch.

What’s really depressing is that things like this will always be just a dream, meanwhile billionaires will never appreciate something like this or do it for the reasons we would.

Honestly part of the fun of the movie. Specifically for the ending though, by what they show, you can assume that neither of them are based on the fact they are the only 2 left. If they both were, then there would be no reason to remain disguised. If one of them was, they could simply kill the other as there’s no benefit to remaining disguised. That aside, tracking who is a Thing and who isn’t is not simple at all.

You can play it without needing a login. The login is to access one of the DLCs which is a coop type survival wave thing? I played through the entire campaign without needing to login. Highly recommend man, game is a blast and the story is amazing.

I just recently played this myself and for me it was a 10/10. First game I’ve done a complete clear on and started a NG+ in probably years.

No game should ever cite Black and White for comparison. I’ve never seen a game even come close to it. I’d love to be proven wrong.

Amazing quote but real quick if you haven’t seen Carpenter’s The Thing go do so immediately. Best horror movie in my book and wish daily I could watch it for the first time again.

I’m just sick of being unmedicated because there’s always a shortage of medicine or my insurance wants to be a fuck nugget. I can’t even function properly without mine and have severe anxiety over losing my job because of this shit. Fuck American healthcare, fuck insurance companies.

I own the second installment and just…wow. work of art. Definitely pick this up if you like Skyrim type format. There are always new places to explore and side quests to find. The sword combat is super realistic and brutal. Quite the learning curve and not a ‘smash everything’ type game.
