BilSababOPMtoLongformIndepth•The Real Story Behind 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'English1·7 hours agothe thing with this book is that it is a 30s book so to speak. We had it on the curriculum too back in the university and it just doesn’t really connect and that point of life. But then i read it during COVID and it felt like the most relatable thing ever.
this movie has everything… except for Robert Calvert’s The Right Stuff
BilSababOPMtoClassicFilms•John Rhys-Davies and Harrison Ford on the set of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1980)English2·7 hours agoThe genre fell by the wayside after Starcraft 2 and most strategies went either MOBA (makes sense because that’s where the money are at) or Total War route. So there are not that many oldschool RTS especially the C&C style. But given how well the remasters performs - the demand is definitely there and it brings a lot of hope, especially given how boomer shooters are now a legitimate FPS subgenre.
It’s not really a scene - more like a moment after one of the test flights and the way it is cropped makes it really hard to understand its exact moment.
The biggest crime this movie commits is that it doesn’t feature Robert Calvert’s The Right Stuff. I mean come on - this song is on point!

In essence, there is a system of contributing factors that shape human perception and behavior that constitute the individual’s social and cultural facts which then spin into systems of capitals that implicitly regulate individual’s behavior. so on the surface things are simple but you can dig deeper and find more and more underlying systems behind this or that behavior and way of thinking.
i don’t know what to say because that’s fucking stupid.
