Sept. 21 (UPI) – Rupert Murdoch will step down as board chair of Fox and News Corp. and be succeeded by his eldest son, Lachlan Murdoch, the companies announced Thursday.

- Adding the news segments as videos on X (formerly Twitter)
- Pushing the news on users, much like he pushes his own Tweets
- Dropping cable television broadcasting because the FCC and regulations go against his “free speech absolutist” values.
