I have a text/graphic file which I would like to have completely inside my Mastodon header, not clipped as is the norm.

I did some shrinking and shifting a number of different times, but it ends up either not centered, or the image is blurred.

I run Ubuntu GNU/Linux on my PCs, so I have access to Imagemagick, which can do almost anything with a graphics file from the command line. Also, GIMP, but I don’t use that often.
