I imagine a lot of that map would change color real quick if contracting companies raised the cost of work or made it impossible to get some work done by boycotting Israel.

Yes. You have the freedom to follow anti BDS laws in 37 states. And counting.

Freedom isn’t free. Gee golly, duncha know.

Their freedom always boils down to I’m allowed the freedom to make terrible choices, whereas your pussy government tries to care for and protect your community. Be it gun access, their healthcare system, food safety, gambling regulation, medical programs, pollution laws… (this list in almost infinite).

By their yardstick, the most freedom-loving countries in the world are just those where money buys you access and permission to everything - Somalia, Sudan, Cameroon, Cambodia, North Korea, Russia… you know… the same places they call shitholes.

One day they’ll maybe figure out collectively that they have been had by the wealthy, who advertise and campaign to trick them into voting against taxation and regulation and protections that benefit them and their whole community, but it won’t be anytime soon.

Plenty of USians already realize this, but those are the ones who are viewed as “radical commies” and “no good, lazy, do-nothing, drains on society” then blacklisted from employment at any company large enough to offer healthcare…

This is misleading. Colorado doesn’t have a law restricting government contracts with companies boycotting Israel. It DOES have a law preventing the state pension from investing in companies that boycott Israel though.

This is probably more accurately a map of states with Anti-BDS laws supporting Israel.

Gov contract does not equal Investment? The Colorado law is specifically about their state pension called PERA ans how that pension is invested.

While I don’t support the law, it only restricts how that pension is invested. It has nothing to do with a companies ability to get a state contract for work.

I can’t tell if you’re joking… With the copy paste of your comment…

Anti-BDS law states are what the OP post seemingly shows. But the headline in OPs post doesn’t say that, it says government contracts, which is a more specific case of anti-bds law.

Most anti-BDS laws have taken one of two forms: contract-focused laws requiring government contractors to promise that they are not boycotting Israel; and investment-focused laws, mandating public investment funds to avoid entities boycotting Israel.

That’s because it includes both of these in the category. The discrepancy is probably because the OP image slightly misrepresents what the map is saying.

      Bro.

The United States is number 1 in the world for firearms killing children.

They were like, fuck you motor vehicles, move over, stay in the slow lane. Opens fire on vehicular homicide

Yea, baby. America is number 1 in killing children. And fucking them. Killing them and fucking children. That’s the legacy. That’s the American dream and reality. And after you fuck them and you shoot them dead you run them the fuck over - with a monster truck!

      God bless America.

Zionists were invading a lot of countries quietly in shadow, in fact. You can find a lot of people with Jewish roots in government in many parts of the world. The USA is just a bright example. They literally use the USA for their own dirty plans and actions. It was relatevly fine until now. I do not support people that kill others and racism, but it becomes more obvious to me that the hate for Jews(and especially Zionists) hasn’t appeared of nowhere and they actually deserved it. Sadly, though, that because of actions of others, normal people(Jews, that do not support Zionists) now forced to suffer the consequences.

      Edited to avoid misconception.

Again, why would you want to do buisness with the US? We’re at best an unreliable customer, at worst an active nuisance and threat to the human race. If being anti-isreal means you cant get public funding, then I guess being anti-fascist makes you anti-taxes? Not sure why people arent shutting down the IRS anyways since i cant opt out of them stealing my check to line the pockets of the rich.
