All my radishes have now sprouted! I thinned them out last week and had the spare ones on top of some potato salad.
Yesterday I also planted 10 Brokkoli saplings in between the radishes so that the planter isn’t empty once the radishes are ready to go (should be in like 1-2 weeks I think?)
Oh, and I’m working on transitioning my sugar snap peas to the outside world. They’re outside during the day and inside at night for now, but I’m hoping to keep them outside permanently pretty soon.

Noice. Can you tell us more about what soil you’ve used? For example, did you buy some potting mix at the store or something else?

Haha, I’m too lazy to carry the big bags of potting mix up to my apartment so I use a mix of coco fiber and coco peat! Those come in dehydrated compressed bricks that expand when mixed in water, it’s super convenient
Although, it’s my first time planting something more demanding into that mix, so I guess I’m yet to find out whether it’s actually a good option. I’m definitely pretty liberal with the fertilizer, coco peat doesn’t have all that many nutrients all by itself.

The only thing growing here as of yet, my rhubarb sprouted and is still alive after a few 20 degree nights, and my daffodils are just starting to bloom. And some grass is sprouting I suppose. Should be time to start some other stuff though. This year I’m protecting apple seedlings from deer and rabbits as they kill them all. No cherries to plant this year sadly.

Then the other plants. Poor soil here though, and little sun for my spots, in the later parts of the year.
