The loop track is longer, and also more likely to damage the trolley and prevent it from going over them.

Even on strictly ethical grounds, you should switch tracks, there is a non-zero chance it will save them !

I untie them, then retie them to the awesome 360° loop, then flip the switch so they can be a part of the awesome 360° loop.
