United States President Donald Trump says Washington had armed Iranian opposition groups and protesters during mass antigovernment demonstrations in December and January, in which thousands of people were killed during crackdowns by government forces.
Oh his book is very good btw for helping people struggling with liberalism and American propaganda.
American Rule it’s called. I lent it to this older person who works with our group and I think it was a big eye opener for her. It’s circulating around others now.
I would like to see some evidence of the thousands killed. Israel claims to have long ago hacked the traffic cameras in Iran, so there should be a lot of imagery available if this really happened.
I think Iran itself said ~2,000 dead
It’s a high number but not unreasonable given the size of the country and its urban areas/densities. That 40,000 shit was so brazenly a lie it just served to undermine the credibility of anyone who repeated it uncritically
Agreed, I just said that because 2,000 is “thousands”.
5.000 as per the article, 500 of them regime forces
CIA covert operations guy right now: ┻━┻ ︵ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ︵ ┻━┻
I’d love to see what kind of mental gymnastics the libs will use to vault over this one
Sure, I can help you with that. I already had some very annoying, firsthand, real life experience:
- “What, you’re gonna believe Trump now?” (repeated several times)
- “What you’re gonna believe Mossad and Netanyahu now?”
- “Since when does the CIA fund leftists?” (they’ve long funded compatible leftists)
- “I know an Iranian socialist who said the protests were genuine.”
- “We really need better sources before judging.”
- “That [using the timing of the protests to connect them to regime change efforts] is just bullshit.”
- “There were genuine grievances long before, so the [armed] protests [at that special time, scale and level of escalation] must be a genuine expression of popular will [and should therefore be tailed by socialists]” (additions in brackets mine, even if the protests were genuine, blindly following them would be tailism)
- “No, I’ve never heard about Lenins concept of national liberation.” (National liberation from imperialism sometimes has to come before communist revolution)
- “That’s condescending of you to explain it to me”
- Upon mentioning the simultaneous and much larger pro Iran counter protests: literally handwaves, makes angry noises
- Upon mentioning how both the victims (Iran) and the perpetrators (US and Israel) are in agreement about the unrest being fabricated, and how strange it is for a westerner to claim to know better and assume a conspiracy to lie about fabricating unrest and arming protesters, when it has been their declared strategy for years: angrily leaves the room
person i know will probably just tell me to ask our iranian coworker about it, like last time
Reporter: What picture should I use for the article about Iranian protestors?
Editor: Idk, use this one.
Reporter: This has the Kurdish flag. Didn’t Trump complain that the Kurds weren’t involved?
Editor: Eh, fuck em. lol
And he. Just. Tweeted. It. Out.
🙄
Imagining a parallel universe where Russia airdrops AKs to the pussy hat crew
They would turn the AKs in to the FBI because violence is bad and only bad guys need guns
Doesn’t matter when inconvenient truths can just be ignored by both the establishment and liberals. They’ll just crank out more hitler bots across all social media platforms to drown this out with whatever other bullshit they can think of.
