The other two liberals reasons for overturning the ban are fucking asinine too. Fuckers basically said “If we let you ban conversion therapy, they can use that logic to ban gender affirming care.” Oh okay, so they can de facto ban it and just force you into “conversion therapy” instead of just outright banning it.
