You gotta have people to make a movement.

No matter what you think, people going from full on political apathy to a Disney protest is still progress.

I wish to god there was a significant portion of the US who started changing it right now, but I don’t think shitting on people who are just growing aware of this fucked up country is the way to bring them together for a more radical cause.

      Hi sweetheart👋!
I didn’t make this video, a comrade did.

I’ve been asking Americans to make proper protest demands, and escalate since b4 2024-11-06.

So far I’ve been notified ending an airline corporation is the only success Americans have made.

      Teslas continue to operate.
      Flock Cameras continue to operate.
      Deathcamps continue to operate…

I pray this banter shocks enough people to wake up:

Maybe we need to do what Koreans were not afraid to do.

      With best intersections,
      — AntiOppression Sentai.

One thing to remember is that, unlike European countries and other smaller countries with basically one major city, the US is gigantic, both in land size and in number of huge cities.

When France’s government is tyrannical, everyone can gather in Paris and fight the police. After all, it’s just a few hours drive. I live in Idaho, to drive to DC would take 4 days of 12+hours driving each day, and getting the people to rise up in every major city is a near impossibility. There simply aren’t enough people who are willing to fight back in the same manner.

Also, you fight back in England or France you might get tear gassed or arrested. In the US they will murder you, as they have done to even peaceful protestors.

There is no way you think Nepal and Myanmar can compare to the US… The only similarity is death at the hands of our government.

And what good does destroying a flock camera do? They will arrest you using the footage and put a new one up tomorrow. There is no way you would destroy a government camp without getting killed, they would just rebuild.

The point is, our movement doesn’t have enough people yet for any of those measures. And if you start getting violent the number shrinks significantly.

It’s called reality. Look, I don’t know anything about you, but when I was 19 I thought we could just destroy all the evil in the world too. But 20 years later I have come to the realization that the world isn’t that simple. Sometimes we have to bear it and focus on the little things we can change until we win over enough people to change the world.

I am glad you could realize 39 additional years later how evil your nation is, and that you won’t do something as simple as taking Nazi cameras down in Boise.

we can change until we win over enough people

              You called this

              reality

Which means do not believe this at all. Either you believe Trump didn’t win over 33% of the Nazi vote over, or you really don’t know how evil are your neighbors complying for the Nazi state.

I understand all of that. I understand the GOP cheats by restricting voting, I understand the Nazis where I live are evil. My point is that your strategy of “blow everything up and kill everyone til they can’t be evil anymore” requires a worldview that is not yet fully developed. We need to keep winning people to our side.

Remember the quote from V for Vendetta “The building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world.”

I have yet to see concrete demands, and clear escalations for when the state misses them.

Yet, I’ve been told to organize by angry people.

That’s because it goes against the interests of the organizers who are the controlled opposition (Democrats, large capitalists like Walton family, etc). The task of these protests is to provide an outlet to vent frustrations against “the unamerican bad man who ruined everything” and to get support for the upcoming elections, rather than to do anything that could be disruptive or illegal.

It’s no coincidence that previous No Kings have left absolutely 0 impact, or the absurd spinelessness of organizing it within countries that still have monarchies (UK, Canada) but changing the name to No Tyrants because they don’t want to upset their power structures even if being anti-monarchy is no longer even remotely radical.

Even besides that, expecting a revolution to actually happen merely because some reactionary took power for next 4 years, especially when material conditions/interests for the majority of the people haven’t been fundamentally changed at all is a bit of a liberal delusion.
