    This shouldn’t be exactly news. Getting a bolus of a hormone occasionally creates wild swings in hormone levels; a patch smooths it out.

    Perhaps someone can elucidate for me - prostrates are a very high risk item for cancer and the treatment is chemo, radiation, and drugs that destroy sexual function, bone density, and grow tits - so why don’t they just remove the prostate at the first sign of trouble, or on demand from the prostate owner? Seems like the reasonable thing to do.
