Polished silver hides scratches. For that reason alone I鈥檇 take silver over black most times. Of course there are applications where black just looks great (carbon fiber). But rub marks on $300 cranks never look good.
They say once you go black you don鈥檛 go back. With the amount I鈥檓 rubbing myself, I think it might be worth it.
