Apparently not everyone has these. I learned about them on an AskReddit thread many years ago. The title of the post was something like āwhatās something about peopleās body that they probably donāt know?ā
I showed the comment about this to my wife and she found she has them. She was so freaked out by their presence that Iāve refused ever since to find out whether I do.

I remember a surgeon commenting that sometimes muscles and tendons can be in different places or even outright missing in individuals. That must make surgery fun.
Soon Iām supposed to have a surgery on my spine but possibly coming from the front. Iāve had about a thousand MRIs leading up to this. Apparently a goodly number of them were just checking to see if they could even get to my spine past the stomach (and, more than that, veins).
I donāt really want to need the surgery, but I donāt envy the surgeons, either.

I have these! Plus Iāve got a bony lump on the roof of my mouth. Like half a small golf ball or half a large marble at the back of my hard palate, right before my soft palate. I always thought everyone had it, but a few years ago I learned itās rare. More common in certain genotypes, most people in my family have it.
