i鈥檓 thinking about playing NMS with a friend. Afaik multiplayer is a bit limited, making it not really fun or possible to play the wohle game together. I鈥檓 thinking of main lore missions for example. Is that assessment correct?

Haven鈥檛 tried it but I went on an expedition once and there def were other players on the same planet I saw. Pretty fun.
NMS recently got a big update for custom ships + multiplayer improvements, iirc.
I鈥檇 say to just try it out and see if you both like it.
It works great! But if you have a bad internet connection, maybe not super great.
My brother and I build bases together. We are getting ready to try building a corvette together.
