Too much red to go in my Hapatra deck. Maybe I need a new -1/-1 deck.
Pretty cool design. Does this ward cost mean that if you don鈥檛 have a creature to put the counters onto, whatever you targeted it with is always countered?
I may be wrong about this, but I believe the ward cost becomes part of the the casting cost of the spell, and if you don鈥檛 have any creatures, you aren鈥檛 able to cast the spell.
Ah thanks, that makes these alternative ward costs pretty strong
