A spanish youtuber I follow made a clip talking about the right-wing shitter bots, and a bunch of right winnies / enlighten centrist felt offended for the “”““bias””", so complained about the guy focusing only on the extremist right wing indian bots and “purposely” ignoring the other side and calling the guy a hypocrite for that
Like if wasn’t fucking elon who started the whole monetized ragebait thing and the one who purposely lobotomizes grok and the algorithm for spreading right-wing propaganda

You (meme source) are acting like these troll factories aren’t still active. You’ve been shown what you are arguing against. Sure, there are a lot of gullible and hateful people, but they are going to be joined in and supported by the troll farms regardless. They remain active because they get paid, and they get paid because they are effective.
Sometimes they are even upfront about it and tell you that they are in it to waste your time, in no small part because it normalizes and encourages other people to do the same.
