Does anyone know if it鈥檚 possible to cobble together an experience that鈥檚 like the Positive Grid Spark (small amp with fx modelling) but also able to run a cable out to my 4x12 ?
All those modelling amps only output to powered speakers 馃槖
And the PG Spark has Facebook and Google trackers in the app that comes with it 馃あ
I鈥檝e got a Line 6 Toneport UX1 from back in the day - and I love the tones from the amp modelling software that comes with, but that needs to be hooked up to a Windows computer, which is a faff.
I basically want that system but packaged into an amp box with a touch screen, and a line out to my 4x12. That would be sick.
Are there any competitors to Positive Grid that are building something like that?

You鈥檇 need a separate power amp to power the 4x12, so something like the SD PowerStage series, Harley Benton GPA-100, mooer baby bomb, or a flat response bass amp, and then you could use any modeller you like.
keep in mind your modeller must be able to disable any cabsim, otherwise you鈥檇 effectivley run a recirded guitar cab through another guitar cab, which sounds like absolute ass.
