🎉 1K And A Heartfelt Thank You

It’s already been over a month since we crossed the 1,000-subscriber milestone! I wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you for being part of this community. When I took over as moderator just over a year ago, we were a small group of ~30 subs with virtually no engagement. Seeing a relatively niche space like this grow has been very exciting. This is the first community (lemmy or otherwise) that I’ve moderated and helped grow and I’m grateful for anyone who has posted, commented or upvoted here.

I also want to give a special shoutout to @Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com who has been very helpful over the past year. And has really been a beacon of the broader community as well.

While I’m happy to celebrate this milestone, the real reason for this post is because I have a request: Do we have any artists or graphic designers here?

I’d love to commission a custom banner that captures the essence of animation and aligns with our community’s vibe.
