Hi, I’m hosting a private GoToSocial instance, and I’m unable to follow any communities on lemmy.ml because federation_signed_fetch is set to false by default (proof).

I’ve discussed it with GoToSocial devs, and their stance is that it’s a security feature, which should be enabled, and they don’t want to support non-standard and non-secure communication.

Lemmy itself seems to have it enabled by default, so I assume it’s a local instance setting or something.

Could you please consider enabling it?
