They are as alright as a centralized exchange can be, getting more and more corporate tho, it鈥檚 not the same company it was 5 years ago anymore. But they鈥檙e still very close to the community, they aren鈥檛 a big fan of KYC themselves but they have to do it. If you want to avoid that better go with decentralized exchanges.
Kraken.com is one of the oldest exchanges, never hacked. I have been their client for over 10 years, moved large amounts of money and never had problems with their KYC process. They even assigned a personal asset manager in one point of time.
