Never been a sandwich person as I always ended up ordering burgers or pasta. Now, wanted to try more sandwiches and see what I have missed. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Banh Mi Saigon has amazing Vietnamese subs.
Vennie鈥檚 subs also has really good subs. A little pricey, but worth it every now and then.
Thanks will put them on my list.
Banh Mi reminds me of a place a place on Kingsway and Fraser which I went many years ago. I think it鈥檚 called BaLe. Should go back and try as well.
Ba Le is good! Banh Mi Saigon goes that extra little bit. Would be fun for ya to try both and compare 馃
Yes, gonna be fun 馃榾
La Grotto del Fromaggio on the Drive. Don鈥檛 do the subway thing of just cramming as much as you can, they鈥檝e got suggestions and I鈥檇 follow them.
Ah this one. I was there b4 but got grocery instead of deli. Lol. I will try their suggestion next time I am in that area. Thanks
We鈥檙e almost complete opposites; I go pretty frequently but have never gotten groceries there.
My go to sandwich place, but parking there sucks so I haven鈥檛 been in ages.
Meat and Bread only has a few sandwiches but they鈥檙e amazing - if you haven鈥檛 been there before it鈥檚 definitely worth a try.
There are also a lot of smaller local sandwich shops (Greens and Beans comes to mind) that are definitely worth a try if you鈥檙e in the neighborhood.
Thanks I saw Meat and Bread on Google so that one is on my list.
Yes that is what I would want to try, smaller local sandwich places. I am hoping they would make some part of the sandwiches in their shop ( bake their bread or deli) instead of buying everything in bulk.
I will definitely try greens and beans when i get to that area.
Not Vancouver, but maybe close enough? Giancarlo Italian Deli in Coquitlam has some superb sandwiches! 1115 Austin Ave
Anything works cause whenever I get to that area , now I have something ready in my back pocket.
Thanks!
