On the one hand this is a great acquisition for us, but it鈥檚 also leaving me concerned because does this mean we鈥檙e going to persist with Rice at 8? If so doesn鈥檛 that mean we still don鈥檛 have cover for DM with Partey and Jorginho leaving? I鈥檓 glad that we鈥檙e getting our primary targets though, even if they鈥檙e a little late.
I feel like the transfer market can be tough at the best of times, let alone in Jan when every club also knows we鈥檙e a little desperate.
I don鈥檛 envy anybody involved in the recruitment process. Sounds like a lot of long nights.

Reports are emerging that we鈥檙e trying. Apparently we were rebuffed with an offer for Vlahovic last week and we鈥檙e back in for Sesko this week.
