Do you mind if I ask what suburb you鈥檙e from? I am near Jimboomba and haven鈥檛 noticed much of a difference (though we might not be affected by this). Maybe more metallic, but that is kind of subjective.

I鈥檝e been double-filtering mine with a Brita water jug which removes nearly all of the taste.

Tbh I haven鈥檛 really noticed the taste change yet. I don鈥檛 use any filter, just pour it into a jug and put the jug in the fridge to get properly cold.

Hmm I don鈥檛 usually chill my water but I heard that helps a lot. Might start doing that myself.

The taste is very noticeable unchilled. I noticed after rinsing when brushing my teeth. I heard the water was bad in the western suburbs and it was about 24 hours later that I started noticing the taste in Brisbane鈥檚 south (I guess the water towers get filled at different times).

I can鈥檛 stand water right out of the tap, so I have always filled up glass bottles with it and store them in the fridge. Very much recommended 馃憣馃徏

Wow. I鈥檓 in the west but haven鈥檛 noticed it when cleaning teeth. I wet the toothpaste before brushing and wipe down the outside of my mouth with water afterwards, but don鈥檛 rinse my mouth off since AFAIK it鈥檚 recommended not to do that for dental hygiene.
