Why would anyone repack a game which does not contain any DRMs and is freely available by using some alternative GOG downloader ?

I just wasn鈥檛 sure since I鈥檝e heard repacks often don鈥檛 want to install right on Linux because the repack installers are so heavily Windows-oriented. Not sure how much truth there was to that, so I thought I鈥檇 ask.
I haven鈥檛 tried this one, specifically, but you鈥檙e right. I鈥檝e almost entirely relied on running the setups on a windows machine then moving the final content over to my Linux machines.
