Since switching to Mac / Apple Sillicon last year, I鈥檝e had trouble with HDR videos on YouTube with Firefox.
For whatever reason, any HDR video will look super bright on Firefox. This problem only exists on Firefox. I鈥檝e never had it with Safari or chromium-based browsers.
Here is a side-by-side comparison of how a test video looks. Sorry for the photo but the screenshot utility wouldn鈥檛 capture the problem.
I鈥檝e been searching the webs for a while but so far I could not find a bug report or anything related to this specific problem. Maybe someone else has had similar experiences and can help me with fixing it. I really don鈥檛 want to have to switch to another browser whenever I come across an HDR video.

Not the same problem but I鈥檝e had problems with my M2 Mac rendering Latex-based SVGs (like math equations on Wikipedia)
