It seems it was Italian Air Force on tour and it wasn’t a rainbow, it was the colors of the Italy flag.

I got a good look and there were roughly 7 of them flying in tight formation, so it has to have been some kind of air show. But I can’t find anything about one happening today even looking at NOTAMs (pilot information notices), and the Celebration of Light doesn’t start until Saturday. I’m stumped too!
It’s almost Pride, no? I wonder if it was practice, or to start hyping up with the festival starting next week.

Contrails. Not chemtrails. Contrails are airplane engine vapour exhaust; chemtrails are what make the frogs gay.
