I was about to say, some elbow grease, and it鈥檚 probably pretty okay under there.
Takes way more rust than you would think to ruin cast iron.

Did you have to rebuild the chuck? I鈥檇 imagine that was in a nightmare state.
Nope, no rebuilding. I also haven鈥檛 actually used it yet, because of other work taking priority. I鈥檓 the only machinist in the shop, so I have a lot to get to lol. And, the tool holder shouldn鈥檛 need to be ultra precise anyway because I touch off tools anyway.
